Night and Day is a PG-13 rated site, in a semi-fantasy style.
We are open to all role players, but ask that you write in a literate fashion.

IC (In Character) Rules
-No Power Playing or God-Modding. Power playing: controlling someone's character without their permission (e.g., Dagnabbit ran into Orkyblork, knocking him down and goring him with his antlers). God-Modding: creating or playing a character in such a way that he/she is invincible, or improbably perfect.
-Liquid time is allowed.
-No special powers (outside of the angra mainyu bond).
-Only owls have wings, silly. No winged deer.
-Unnatural markings/colors are allowed (see the rules of number of posts in character creation), but within reason. No turquoise owls, for example, but an owl with turquoise markings could happen. If in doubt, as a staffer.
-As ProBoards recently altered their policies, no description of sexual acts is allowed. You may indicate that the acts have occurred, but any descriptions will be deleted.
-No chat speak, ever.
-You may have only one Angra Mainyu in your character's life time, so choose carefully--this is your life partner, the other part of your soul.
-Your Angra Mainyu can communicate with you from a distance, but in brief thoughts or feelings, not full sentences; you can also feel his/her pain.
-Your Angra Mainyu can be either gender.
-As owls generally are awake at night and deer during the day, the most common times to meet with your Angra Mainyu in "person" are at dusk and at dawn.
OOC (Out Of Character) and Other Rules
-One account per member.
-Two hundred word minimum in IC posts.
-No abusive or offensive speech; play nice.
-Maximum of 6 characters per player unless you buy an extra.
-If you don't have a table for your different characters, please use different fonts or font colors to differentiate them, or enter their name at the beginning of the post.
-When making an OOC comment in an IC thread, put it at the top or bottom in parentheses, with "OOC" in front of the text.
