The Stone Hollow

The beating heart of Fleetwater lands, the Stone Hollow is so named for the giant standing stone at its heart. Outsiders are forbidden here, because it is seen as a sacred place; it is the most frequent haunt of the Druids, and it is where ceremonies take place. The stone itself is set in a glade of thick deciduous trees, with a small, silvery stream running to it and around it.

Boundary Stream

Flowing out from the rock at the heart of Stone Hollow, the Boundary Stream, in turn, gives the rest of the Fleetwater Tribe its name. The bright, burbling, swiftly flowing waters rush in a half-circle, which outline the edges of their territory. Around it grow rich, lush grasses, cattails, and flowers.

Hazelgleam Woods

These are the beautiful woods that enclose the Stone Hollow. Predominant among them are nut-bearing trees, such as hazel and chestnut; when their fruit falls into the water, it is said to impart wisdom to the drinker. The light here is golden most of the time, filtering through rich leaves down into fairly wide spaces between the trees; there is little undergrowth, but the ground is soft and rich underfoot.

Board Description
The Fleetwater Tribe
One of the oldest, if not THE oldest, herds on Elaphus Tyton, the Fleetwater Tribe is also one of the least hierarchically organized. They have a Chieftain or Chieftess, to make important decisions and adjudicate in any arguments that arise among herd members, and this position is usually elected by the herd at large, though passing the title down to children has been known. Other than this, the main formation of the Fleetwater Tribe is the Druid class. These peaceful does and stags perform the rituals and ceremonies of the Cerviformes, mythical beings somewhere between deer and owls which are said to inhabit sacred parts of the landscape. They also perform the celebratory officiations when an Angra Mainyu pairing is recognized--this is one of the most holy events in their world. Fleetwaters rarely fight, save in self-defense.
