~[ .THISTLEFOOT. ]
Where are the people that accused me?
The ones who beat me down and bruised me
They hide just out of sight, can't face me in the light

Name:: Thistlefoot
Gender:: Male
Species:: Axis Deer
Age:: 3 years
Irises:: An interesting mix of colors, which by many would be described as "hazel." In reality, they are predominantly a light, golden brown mixed with an earthy pea green, often seeming to shift between the two colors. They are flecked with spots of gold and darker brown.
Strange Markings:: Thistlefoot has a broadly spaced "ring" of green markings around his neck, at the base of his ruff. Each mark is shaped like a feather, with the largest at the center of his chest, getting smaller as they travel up to his shoulders, where they curl upwards slightly into more of a hooked claw shape.
Appearance Description:: Thistlefoot is just now coming into his own as a fully adult stag, but he is still young. Some day, he will be a very powerful buck, and he is certainly fit and strong now, but his body tends towards the lean. He has very long, well-muscled but slender legs, and a long neck that fills out at the bottom into a thick mane over growing chest muscles. Aside from when he has shed them for winter, his antlers are one of his greatest prides, as they have just now begun growing out to three tiers, sweeping back from his head. His pelt is a rich, warm chestnut brown, flecked, like all deer of his species, with bright, dappled white spots, including a line of these spots on top of the dark stripe on his back. White also flows down from his muzzle and jaw, coating his neck before fading out into tan. Just where the white turns back to brown is where his first notable difference is--the mossy green markings he was born with. They form a sort of chain around his neck, like a tribal necklace, though the individual markings do not touch each other. The chain does not go all the way around, stopping at either shoulder with an elegantly curved form that wraps around the muscles over his forelegs. The other distinguishing feature he bears are his bright, shifting hazel eyes, which, while less unusual than his markings, still often draw attention.
They'll return but I'll be stronger
God I want to dream again, take me where I've never been
I wanna go there, this time I'm not scared[/i]

Personality:: Though he spends much of his time with the Druids, Thistlefoot has yet to learn their calm, sage-like attitude. Instead, he bursts with energy, an energy that often causes them smile at his enthusiasm for learning, but just as often gets him scolded for impetuousness. As he grows older, the young buck is learning to moderate himself, but for now he is still over-hasty. Nevertheless, his obvious, brimming love of the Fleetwater Tribe, the Cerviformes, and the world of nature itself is endearing and infectious to many. This is not to say that he is entirely a foolish young stag. Deep strains of wisdom seem to reside just below the surface, some cultivated from his elders, others seemingly native to his persona. He is deeply compassionate, loving easily and thinking little of putting himself in danger for those he loves. At times, particularly when in the peace of the inner groves of Fleetwater territory, he seems to carry a strange, mystical light within him; at these moments he will say things surprisingly observant and wise for one so young.
Forge the fear it's just a crutch
Now I am unbreakable, it's unmistakable
That tries to hold you back and turn your dreams to dust
Mother:: Gleamsong
Father:: Fettlewind
Mate:: None yet.
Children:: None yet.
History:: Thistlefoot has been marked since birth for service to the Cerviformes, and so far as he knows or wants, that will be his fate in the Fleetwater Tribe. When he came into the world, his arrival supervised by the Druid does who attended his mother, the sight of his strange green markings was a cause for celebration, as they were believed to be a sign of approval. As a result, he has been raised with a great love for the old ways, the Angra Mainyu bond, and the Stone Hollow. Though his fiery nature and inclination towards rough-housing often worries his elders, word is that he will soon be formally inducted into training as a Druid.
Alliance:: Fleetwater Tribe (pro-bond)
